dp4 Font Viewer - complete and simple font manager
The Windows operating system cannot display text without having at least one font installed. The same goes for writing text using various text editors. The font is the most important element of all these. Unfortunately, the Windows font manager and viewer seems very simple and doesn't have so many features. One may want a more complex application for making it easier to add or remove fonts from the system. dp4 Font Viewer is just the software for the job. It's a simple Windows application that doesn't need installing and can be run from any version of Windows.
After running the program, the user will be able to view all the installed fonts together with a text sample for each of them. Compared to the Windows font viewer, one can add his own text for previewing a font. In this way, he will be able to see better whether a font suits him or not. The program can read fonts from any folder, not just the default Fonts folder.
Besides displaying installed system fonts, dp4 Font Viewer also allows installing new ones or displaying complete information regarding each of them. The list of fonts can also be printed, for being used later on. What's more, the program can automatically scan all sub-folders for fonts and can display all of them.
Pros:
